With your school or organisation

Lots of organisations, teachers and their classes come to Bough Beech every year to learn more about water and how it's made safe to drink as part of our free education programme. We also go into schools and run a range of activities including talks and workshops.

Visits are free and open to all schools and organisations, for Key Stage 2 above. To enquire about booking a visit, use the link below.

With your family

Once a year we open our reservoir and treatment works at Bough Beech to the general public so that they can climb the dam, walk through the giant tunnel under the reservoir, see the water treatment processes close up and enjoy hands-on models, interactive displays and games in our brand new education centre!

Why not let us know you’re interested and we’ll let you know when we’re holding our next Open Day? The visit is free but you must be an SES Water customer and be aged over seven to come.
